Water, Magnesium Chloride

To replenish your daily dose of magnesium, we recommend 15 sprays of this product twice a day (30 sprays total). We tested this and it truly takes seconds.

The easiest way? Start and end your days with 15 sprays in the AM before getting dressed and 15 sprays in the PM before going to sleep.

Really – it takes less than 1 minute total to get your daily allowance of magnesium and all its amazing benefits.

Upon initial trial, some users experience itchiness and/or a warming sensation. This is normal and generally subsides with absorption. Wash hands after application and avoid contact with your eyes and mucous membranes.

You have other topical magnesium sprays – what’s the difference?

  • This spray is great for those with sensitivity to magnesium or capsaicin or if you are new to topical magnesium. Some people report itching upon initial use of topical magnesium which usually lessens and disappears with continued use and absorption.  Starting with this pure spray is a great way to try topical magnesium.
  • This spray has less magnesium than our Ultra Magnesium Oil and no capsaicin (the FDA approved pain reliever derived from the chili pepper) like Spray Pain Away making it a gentler option.

Is Asutra Magnesium Oil Spray safe for kids to use?

Yes – Magnesium Oil Spray is safe for kids to use! However, start with small amounts, as children’s skin is more sensitive to skin irritation. Start slowly and spread it out. You can also dilute it with water to slowly begin building a tolerance. Meanwhile, keep an eye out for any skin irritation.

Where should I apply Magnesium Oil Spray?

Most people spray it on their arms, legs, feet, and/or stomach. Some people with specific issues like leg or muscle cramps will spray and massage it onto that part of their body. We recommend gently massaging it into your skin. Once absorbed through your skin, the magnesium will be carried to different parts of your body.

Can I use Asutra Magnesium Oil as an aluminum-free alternative to deodorant?

  • Yes; we have many customers who use Asutra Magnesium Oil Spray as deodorant. First, it’s a safer, natural deodorant compared to chemical-filled alternatives. Second, using magnesium oil as a deodorant is a good way to get your daily magnesium.
  • Keep in mind that the armpits are much more sensitive compared to other parts of the body (like your arms and legs). If you use magnesium oil as a deodorant, dilute it with water and start slowly to build tolerance.
  • DO NOT apply it to freshly shaven armpits, as it will sting.

Is topical magnesium safe to use during pregnancy?

  • Absolutely! Asutra Magnesium Oil Spray is safe to use during pregnancy. Many customers cite Magnesium Oil Spray as being incredibly helpful in providing relief from sciatica and restless legs / leg cramps during pregnancy. Supplementing with magnesium during pregnancy is important as it supports building of bones, regulates insulin and blood sugar levels and the functioning of enzymes. As always, we recommend consulting your physician with any questions prior to using.

Why is using transdermal Magnesium Oil better than orally taking magnesium pills or supplements?

Transdermal magnesium is ideal because it is more rapidly absorbed through the skin and into the bloodstream, elevating low or depleted levels of magnesium much more quickly into your body than pills or supplements.

Asutra Magnesium Oil stings my skin. Is this normal?

  • If your body’s magnesium levels are low and you apply magnesium directly onto your skin, it may sometimes sting or tingle a little. This is not an allergic reaction — magnesium is found naturally in the body and is vital to good health. Your body is simply building a tolerance to magnesium. Over time and with gradual use, this sensation usually decreases.
  • Additionally, you can dilute the Asutra Magnesium Oil Spray with equal parts water. This will still give you all the benefits and lessen the burning sensation.

How often should I use magnesium oil?

To replenish your daily dose of magnesium, we recommend 15 sprays of Asutra Magnesium Oil twice a day for 30 sprays total daily.

Any more helpful tips prior to applying Magnesium Oil Spray?

Yes! To get the maximum benefits, make sure your skin is clean; this will help the magnesium absorb better and faster. Try applying the spray after a shower, when your skin is clean and warm, and your pores are more open.

Where does your magnesium come from?

Our magnesium chloride is sourced directly from the Zechstein Sea Bed in the Netherlands, an ancient sea bed protected from modern pollution.
